That’s when I noticed that BMI calculators don’t take into consideration the size of your bones, your waist size, your gender or your age. My husband is 73 years old and has a 32-inch waist. There isn’t an ounce of fat on him. He is broad-shouldered and large-boned. If he loses any more weight, he will look gaunt.
